Wana Beverage CSR Mekong Delta: Building Van Phuc Bridge to Overcome Transportation Challenges
The Mekong Delta is famously known as the “Rice Bowl of Vietnam,” a region filled with rivers, canals, and waterways. While this geography supports agriculture and fishing, it also creates transportation challenges for rural communities. Many areas lack safe and permanent bridges, forcing residents—especially children, the elderly, and farmers—to rely on unsafe wooden bridges or small boats.
These infrastructure limitations hinder access to schools, markets, and healthcare, particularly during the rainy season. Improving transportation infrastructure in the Mekong Delta is not just about convenience—it’s about ensuring equal opportunity and community development.
Wana Beverage CSR in the Mekong Delta: Van Phuc Bridge Project
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Wana Beverage is committed to supporting underprivileged communities in Vietnam. In 2025, Wana proudly sponsored the construction of Van Phuc Bridge in Hau Giang Province, contributing VND 50 million to the project.
The Van Phuc Bridge is 30 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, fully equipped with a lighting system to ensure safe travel. This bridge directly connects My Chanh A and My Quoi B hamlets in Phung Hiep District, making everyday commutes safer and faster for hundreds of residents.
This initiative reflects Wana Beverage’s long-term vision: not only growing the business but also growing with the community—true to our slogan: “Growing Together.”
Supporting Children Facing Hardships
In addition to infrastructure development, Wana Beverage’s CSR program in Hau Giang also extended help to children suffering from cancer, disabilities, and financial difficulties. Thoughtful Tet gifts were provided to these children, offering encouragement and showing that they are not alone in their journey.
These efforts highlight Wana’s belief that every child deserves a brighter future, and that small acts of kindness can inspire big change.
