Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a responsibility. At Wana Beverage, we understand that meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight. As part of our long-term commitment to sustainability, we’re taking real action, not just making promises. In 2025, we are proud to plant 2,550 trees in collaboration with Joy Foundation, continuing our mission to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a healthier planet.
Wana Beverage’s Commitment to Sustainability
At Wana, our vision for sustainability is rooted in long-term responsibility and collective action. While we know we can’t solve every problem at once, we believe in steady progress. Our environmental efforts extend beyond one-off activities—they’re part of a bigger plan to make a lasting impact.
Our goal is to plant 50,000 trees by 2030, with reforestation at the heart of our green strategy. We’re focused not only on planting trees but also on building community awareness, inspiring our employees and the public to take environmental stewardship seriously.

Why Tree Planting Matters
Reforestation is a powerful way to restore ecosystems, protect biodiversity, and fight climate change. With every tree we plant, we’re helping to:
-
Absorb carbon dioxide
-
Prevent soil erosion
-
Rebuild natural habitats
-
Promote local climate resilience
But it’s more than just planting. We are creating a culture of environmental action—starting with our teams, and reaching out into the communities we serve.
Progress on Our Sustainability Journey
We’ve taken several important steps in our reforestation efforts:
-
2024 – Partnership with Gaia: We began by planting a small number of trees with Gaia, focusing on consistency and long-term impact.
-
Later in 2024 – Scaling Up: With Gaia’s support, we significantly increased the number of trees planted, marking a milestone in our sustainability roadmap.
-
2025 – Expanding with Joy Foundation: This year, we’re teaming up with Joy Foundation to plant 2,550 more trees in Núi Ông Wildlife Reserve, Binh Thuan.
Each of these steps reflects our steady, growing commitment to environmental responsibility.
Partnering with Joy Foundation in 2025
Joy Foundation is a Vietnam-based nonprofit focused on reforestation and ecosystem restoration. Their work includes:
-
Planting thousands of native trees across the country
-
Partnering with local communities for sustainable land management
-
Maintaining long-term monitoring programs to ensure forest health
Their flagship project, Vườn Rừng (Forest Garden Scheme), restores full ecosystems—not just trees—by enhancing biodiversity, soil health, and water retention. We’re proud to align Wana’s goals with Joy’s impactful work.

Tree Planting at Núi Ông Wildlife Reserve
Located in Binh Thuan Province, Núi Ông Wildlife Reserve spans more than 24,000 hectares of forest and is home to over 1,000 plant and animal species, including endangered tigers, leopards, and rare native flora. Its rich biodiversity makes it a key conservation area and an ideal site for meaningful reforestation.
In June 2025, Wana employees will travel to Núi Ông to plant 2,550 trees by hand, working alongside conservationists and local communities. Our involvement includes:
-
On-site participation from our staff
-
Collaboration with Joy Foundation and local stakeholders
-
Ongoing monitoring to ensure long-term tree survival and impact
This hands-on effort reflects our belief that sustainability is about action—not just funding.
